   A leguminous plant ({Genista tinctoria}) of Europe and
   Russian Asia, and adventitious in America; -- called also
   {greenwood}, {greenweed}, {dyer's greenweed}, and {whin},
   {wood-wash}, {wood-wax}, and {wood-waxen}.
