   A protein in blood serum, belonging to the group of
   globulins. See {Fibrinoplastin}.

   mold.] (Physiol.Chem.)
   An albuminous substance, existing in the blood, which in
   combination with fibrinogen forms fibrin; -- called also
   {paraglobulin}.
