Toluidine \To*lu"i*dine\, n. (Chem.)
   Any one of three metameric amido derivatives of toluene
   analogous to aniline, and called respectively
   {orthtoluidine}, {metatoluidine}, and {paratoluidine};
   especially, the commonest one, or {paratoluidine}, which is
   obtained as a white crystalline substance.
