Exterior \Ex*te"ri*or\, a. [L. exterior, compar. of exter or
exterus on the outside, outward, foreign, strange, a compar.

1. External; outward; pertaining to that which is external;
-- opposed to {interior}; as, the exterior part of a
sphere.
