Fibrolite \Fi"bro*lite\ (? or ?), n. [L. fibra a fiber + -lite:
   cf. F. fibrolithe.] (Min.)
   A silicate of alumina, of fibrous or columnar structure. It
   is like andalusite in composition; -- called also
   {sillimanite}, and {bucholzite}.
