Tribromophenol \Tri*bro`mo*phe"nol\, Tribromphenol
\Tri`brom*phe"nol\, n. (Chem.)
   A colorless crystalline substance ({C6H3OBr3}) prepared by
   the reaction of carbolic acid with bromine. The predominant
   isomer is 2,4,6-tribromophenol; -- called also {bromol}.
