   (Bot.)
   A well-known plant of the genus {Taraxacum} ({Taraxacum
   officinale}, formerly called {Taraxacum Dens-leonis} and
   {Leontodos Taraxacum}) bearing large, yellow, compound
   flowers, and deeply notched leaves.
