Spigot \Spig"ot\, n. [From spick,or spike; cf. Ir. & Gael.
   spiocaid a spigot, Ir. spice a spike. See {Spike}.]
   A pin or peg used to stop the vent in a cask; also, the plug
   of a faucet or cock.
