   n. {Scuffling}.] [Freq. of scuff, v.i.; cf. Sw. skuffa to
   push, shove, skuff a push, Dan. skuffe a drawer, a shovel,

   1. To strive or struggle with a close grapple; to wrestle in
      a rough fashion.
