Scansorial \Scan*so"ri*al\, a. (Zool.)
   (a) Capable of climbing; as, the woodpecker is a scansorial
       bird; adapted for climbing; as, a scansorial foot.
   (b) Of or pertaining to the Scansores. See Illust. under
       {Aves}.
