Pseudovum \Pseu*do"vum\, n.; pl. {Pseudova}. [NL. See {Pseudo-},
   and {Ovum}.] (Zool.)
   An egglike germ produced by the agamic females of some
   insects and other animals, and by the larv[ae] of certain
   insects. It is capable of development without fertilization.
