   babiroussa, fr. Malay b[=a]b[imac] hog + r[=u]sa deer.]
   (Zool.)
   A large hoglike quadruped ({Sus babirussa}, syn. {Porcus
   babirussa}) of the East Indies, sometimes domesticated; the
   Indian hog. Its upper canine teeth or tusks are large and
   recurved.
