Paleechinoidea \Pa`le*["e]ch`i*noi"de*a\, n. pl. [NL. See
   {Paleo-}, and {Echinoidea}.] (Zool.)
   An extinct order of sea urchins found in the Paleozoic rocks.
   They had more than twenty vertical rows of plates. Called
   also {Palaeechini}. [Written also {Palaeechinoidea}.]
