      raspberry and blackberry. It produces a very disagreeable
      flavor.

   {negro corn}, the Indian millet or durra; -- so called in the

   {Negro fly} (Zool.), a black dipterous fly ({Psila rosae})
      which, in the larval state, is injurious to carrots; --
      called also {carrot fly}.
