Hepatic \He*pat"ic\, a. [L. hepaticus, Gr. ?, fr. ? the liver;
akin to L. jecur, Skr. yak?t: cf. F. h['e]patique.]
1. Of or pertaining to the liver; as, hepatic artery; hepatic
diseases.
