   cubicus, Gr. ?????: cf. F. cubique. See {Cube}.]
   1. Having the form or properties of a cube; contained, or
      capable of being contained, in a cube.

   2. (Crystallog.) Isometric or monometric; as, cubic cleavage.

      the unknown quantity is a cube.
