Computer Mediated Communication

   <messaging> (CMC) Communication that takes place through, or
   is facilitated by, computers.  Examples include {Usenet} and
   {e-mail}, but CMC also covers real-time {chat} tools like
   lily (http://lily.org/), IRC, and even video
   conferencing.
