   Gr. 'agkw`n the bent arm, elbow; any hook or bend.] (Anat.)

   {Ancon sheep} (Zool.), a breed of sheep with short crooked
      legs and long back. It originated in Massachusetts in
      1791; -- called also the {otter breed}.
