Virtual Circuit Identifier
VCID

   <networking> (VCID) An identifier used for the {routing} of a
   {virtual circuit}.  An {ATM} {switch} may route according to a
   Virtual Circuit Identifier, a {Virtual Path Identifier}, or a
   combination.
