Transfiguratien \Trans*fig`u*ra"tien\, n. [L. transfiguratio:
   cf. transfiguration.]
   1. A change of form or appearance; especially, the
      supernatural change in the personal appearance of our
      Savior on the mount.

      church on the 6th of August, in commemoration of the
