Theropoda \The*rop"o*da\, n. pl. [NL., fr. Gr. qh`r a beast + ?, ?, foot.] (Paleon.) An order of carnivorous dinosaurs in which the feet are less birdlike, and hence more like those of an ordinary quadruped, than in the Ornithopoda.
