Stellate \Stel"late\, Stellated \Stel"la*ted\, a. [L. stellatus,
   p. p. of stellare to set or cover with stars, from stella a
   star. See {Stellar}.]
   1. Resembling a star; pointed or radiated, like the emblem of
      a star.
