   [Bell Labs] To damage, trash, or corrupt a data structure. "The list
   header got scrogged." Also reported as skrog, and ascribed to the
   comic strip The Wizard of Id. Compare {scag}; possibly the two are
   related. Equivalent to {scribble} or {mangle}.
