Sacchulmic \Sac*chul"mic\, a. [Saccharine + ulmic.] (Chem.)
   Of, pertaining to, or designating, an acid obtained as a dark
   amorphous substance by the long-continued boiling of sucrose
   with very dilute sulphuric acid. It resembles humic acid.
