mercurialism \mer*cu"ri*al*ism\, n. [Mercurial + -ism.] (Med.)
   The syndrome produced by poisoning due to exposure to
   mercury, it fumes, or its compounds; {mercury poisoning}.
   Such exposure may occur in mining or smelting, or in using
   mercurial compounds.
