Mellifluous \Mel*lif"lu*ous\, a. [L. mellifluus; mel, mellis,
   honey (akin to Gr. ?, Goth. milip) + fluere to flow. See
   {Mildew}, {Fluent}, and cf. {Marmalade}.]
   Flowing as with honey; smooth; flowing sweetly or smoothly;
