   Mike Brennan at Boeing in 1991 and distributed under {GPL} but
   distinct from {GNU}'s {gawk}.

   Interpreter version 1.1.3 has been ported to {Sun-3},
   {Sun-4}/{SunOS} 4.0.3; {Vax}/{BSD} 4.3, {ULTRIX} 4.1;
   {Stardent} 3000/{SYSV}R3; {DECStation}/{ULTRIX} 4.1,
