Hydracid \Hy*drac"id\, n. [Hydr- + acid: cf. F. hydracide.]
   (Chem.)
   An acid containing hydrogen; -- sometimes applied to
   distinguish acids like hydrochloric, hydrofluoric, and the
   like, which contain no oxygen, from the oxygen acids or
   oxacids. See {Acid}.
