Holmos \Hol"mos\, n. [NL., fr. Gr.?.] (Greek & Etrus. Antiq.)
   A name given to a vase having a rounded body; esp.:
   (a) A closed vessel of nearly spherical form on a high stem
       or pedestal. --Fairholt.
   (b) A drinking cup having a foot and stem.
