   {Giant clam} (Zool.), a bivalve shell of the genus
      {Tridacna}, esp. {T. gigas}, which sometimes weighs 500
      pounds. The shells are sometimes used in churches to
      contain holy water.

      goliath}). It is the largest heron known.
