fprintf

   <library> Variant of the {C} library routine {printf} which
   prints to a given {stream}.  E.g.

   	fprintf(stderr, "%s: can't open file \"%s\".",
   		argv[0], argv[1]);

   which prints to the "{standard error}" output stream.
