Filth \Filth\ (f[i^]lth), n. [OE. filthe, ful[eth]e, AS.
   f[=y]l[eth], fr. f[=u]l foul; akin to OHG. f[=u]lida. See

   1. Foul matter; anything that soils or defiles; dirt;
      nastiness.
