Euxenite \Eux"e*nite\, n. [Gr. ? hospitable. So named because it
   contains a number of rare elements.] (Min.)
   A brownish black mineral with a metallic luster, found in
   Norway. It contains niobium, titanium, yttrium, and uranium,
   with some other metals.
