Epigastric \Ep`i*gas"tric\, a. [Gr. ? over the belly; 'epi` upon
   + ? belly: cf. F. ['e]pigastrique.]
   1. (Anat.) Pertaining to the epigastrium, or to the
      epigastric region.

      areas of the carapace of crabs.
