   Gr. di- = di`s- twice + ke`ntron spur.] (Bot.)
   A genus of herbaceous plants, with racemes of two-spurred or
   heart-shaped flowers, including the {Dutchman's breeches},
   and the more showy {Bleeding heart} ({Dicentra spectabilis}).
