1. To finger; as, to digitize a pen. [R.] --Sir T. Browne.
2. (Computers) To convert (information, a signal, an image)
into a form expressible in numbers or in binary notation.
The original signal before digitization is usually in
{analog} form.
Note: Digitization allows convenient storage, accurate
reproduction, modification and other manipulations by
digital computers.
