Anthracosis \An`thra*co"sis\, n. [NL. See {Anthrax}.] (Med.)
   A chronic lung disease, common among coal miners, due to the
   inhalation of coal dust; -- called also {collier's lung} and
   {miner's phthisis}. See also the related conditions
   {pneumomelanosis} and {pneumoconiosis} ({black lung}).
