Bostryx \Bos"tryx\, n. [NL.; irreg. fr. Gr. ? a curl.] (Bot.)
   A form of cymose inflorescence with all the flowers on one
   side of the rachis, usually causing it to curl; -- called
   also a {uniparous helicoid cyme}.
