Bablah \Bab"lah\, n. [Cf. Per. bab[=u]l a species of mimosa
   yielding gum arabic.]
   The rind of the fruit of several East Indian species of
   acacia; neb-neb. It contains gallic acid and tannin, and is
   used for dyeing drab.
