Arillode \Ar"il*lode\, n. [Arillus + Gr. e'i^dos form.] (Bot.)
   A false aril; an aril originating from the micropyle instead
   of from the funicle or chalaza of the ovule. The mace of the
   nutmeg is an arillode.
