Annulata \An`nu*la"ta\, n. pl. [Neut. pl., fr. L. annulatus
   ringed.] (Zool.)
   A class of articulate animals, nearly equivalent to
   {Annelida}, including the marine annelids, earthworms,
   Gephyrea, Gymnotoma, leeches, etc. See {Annelida}.
