Staggerbush \Stag"ger*bush`\ (-b[.u]sh`), n. (Bot.)
   An American shrub ({Andromeda Mariana}) having clusters of
   nodding white flowers. It grows in low, sandy places, and is
   said to poison lambs and calves. --Gray.
