Suctoria \Suc*to"ri*a\, n. pl. [NL. See {Suction}.] (Zool.)
   1. An order of Infusoria having the body armed with somewhat
      stiff, tubular processes which they use as suckers in
      obtaining their food. They are usually stalked.
