Querulous \Quer"u*lous\, a. [L. querulus and querulosus, fr.
   queri to complain. Cf. {Cry}, v., {Quarrel} a brawl,
   {Quarrelous}.]
   1. Given to quarreling; quarrelsome. [Obs.] --land.
