Puncheon \Punch"eon\, n. [F. poin[,c]on awl, bodkin, crown,
   king-post, fr. L. punctio a pricking, fr. pungere to prick.

   1. A figured stamp, die, or punch, used by goldsmiths,
      cutlers, etc.
