Primary Domain Controller

   <networking> (PDC) Each {Windows NT} {domain} has a Primary
   Domain Controller and zero or more {Backup Domain
   Controllers}.  The PDC holds the {SAM} database and
   authenticates access requests from {workstations} and
   {servers} in the domain.
