Boldo \Bol"do\, Boldu \Bol"du\, n. (Bot.)
   A fragrant evergreen shrub of Chili ({Peumus Boldus}). The
   bark is used in tanning, the wood for making charcoal, the
   leaves in medicine, and the drupes are eaten.
