Pedipalpus

Pedipalpus \Ped`i*pal"pus\, n.; pl. {Pedipalpi}. [NL. See {Pes},
   and {Palpus}.] (Zool.)
   One of the second pair of mouth organs of arachnids. In some
   they are leglike, but in others, as the scorpion, they
   terminate in a claw.
