Jardiniere \Jar`di`ni[`e]re"\, n. [F., fem. of jardinier
   gardener. See {Garden}.]
   1. An ornamental stand or receptacle for plants, flowers,
      etc., used as a piece of decorative furniture in room.

      sauce with savory herbs, etc.; also, a soup made in this
