Harmotome \Har"mo*tome\ (-m[-o]*t[=o]m), n. [Gr. "armo`s a joint
   + te`mnein to cut: cf. F. harmotome.] (Min.)
   A hydrous silicate of alumina and baryta, occurring usually
   in white cruciform crystals; cross-stone.
